Kongu Naattu Gounder Community — Child Safety Standards
App: Kongu Naattu Gounder Community (KNGC), Android app and kngc.in · Operator: ZevoraTech, Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, India
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Our position
ZevoraTech has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualised content involving minors, and any attempt to use the app to harm a child. This page explains how KNGC is built and run to prevent this, and how to report a concern.
How the app is designed
- Adults only. Registration is open only to people aged 18 or over, and each person must confirm this when registering. The app is not directed at children.
- Every member is approved. An admin of the member's area checks each registration before the person can see or do anything in the app. Admins can hide or delete any member at any time.
- No private messaging between members. The app has no chat or direct messages, so strangers cannot start private conversations.
- No photo, video or file uploads. Members cannot upload images, videos or files. A profile uses a small emoji-style picture chosen from a fixed list.
- Admin-checked posts. Notices, condolences, wishes and events are published only by admins. News sent by members is shown only after an admin has read and approved it.
- Blood requests are short and reviewable. They expire by themselves, can be reported by any member, and can be removed by an admin.
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the member's profile and tap Report, or tap Report on a blood request, and describe the concern. Reports go to the area admins and the main admin.
- By email: [email protected]. Please include the member's name or mobile number if you know it.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call the police (112) or Childline (1098) first.
What we do when we receive a report
- An admin reviews the report as a priority and, where there is a reasonable concern, hides or deletes the member and any related content straight away.
- We keep the information needed for an investigation and do not share it with anyone except the authorities.
- Where required by law, we report to the relevant authorities, including the police and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) in India, and cooperate fully with their requests under Indian child protection law, including the POCSO Act, and other applicable laws.
- A member who breaches these standards is permanently removed.
